Batumi Tour from Tbilisi – 3 Days

If you’d like to get a taste of seaside of Georgia while you’re staying in Tbilisi, this 3 day Batumi tour which includes, Botanical Garden, Gonio fortress and Holy trinity church of Batumi, is for you. On the way you will also visit Prometheus caves.

Day 1

Tbilisi - Prometheus caves - Batumi - Batumi Overnight

Your Batumi tour will start from your address in Tbilisi, where you will be met by your guide and driver, who will lead you to your comfortable car to depart for western part of Georgia.

After about 3 hour of driving and hearing stories about Georgia, we will arrive in Prometheus Caves where you will go underground to take a look at the stunning cave formations – stalactites and stalagmites, that formed here over millions of years and are now currently decorated with colorful lighting and adorned with classical music. We will spend around 2 hours here.

Once we’re done with the Prometheus  Caves, we will proceed to one of the most known cities in Georgia – the Batumi. This will be our final destination of the first day of your 3 day tour to Batumi.

We will arrive in Batumi in the evening and we will take you to your hotel, where you can rest and enjoy your free time.

Day 2

Batumi - Gonio fortress - Holy trinity Church Batumi - Batumi botanical garden - Batumi

On the next day of your Batumi tour, once you're done enjoying your breakfast, we will head to Gonio fortress. 
Gonio fortress is an ancient Romanian fortification, which was built in the first century.
You will enjoy the views and stories of Asparos(Gonio) fortress.

Next, we’ll continue to the amazing Holy trinity Church in Batumi, which has an amazing view on whole Batumi and black seaside. Monastery was established in 21th century however church itself is almost 200 years old. 

After Holy trinity Church, we will go to the famous Botanical Gardens of Batumi, known for it’s dazzling beauty. Plants from all over the world have been gathered in this 10 hectare paradise located on top of a beautiful mountain with black sea views. We’ll explore the garden at our own pace – either by walking or with electric carts available for hire.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Batumi, and this will be end of our second day of Batumi tour. You will still have some time to enjoy another beautiful evening on the Black sea coast.

Day 3

On the last day of our tour to Batumi, we will pick you up at your hotel at the requested time, and we will head back to Tbilisi.
