Sadakhlo border is one of the borders between Georgia and Armenia. It's a land border that people usually cross on foot.

Ghost town of Alaverdi – A mining city during the soviet union, now it houses huge empty factories and looks very much like a Hollywood movie!

Sanahin Monastery is one of the few UNESCO World Heritage Sights in Armenia. Built in 10th century, it still stands strong and tells us stories of the past.

Museum of Mikoyan brothers, is situated in the hometown of the famous brother - the tiny village of Sanahin.

Next, we continue to Haghpat monastery built in the same time period as the sister monastery of Sanahin.

Our final stop for the day is Akhtala fortress known for its amazing murals preserved in amazing condition.

 Sevanavank Monastery

Monastery of Noravank is located in a stunning setting, surrounded by sheer red rocks – it stands on top of a winding gorge offering amazing views of the surroundings.

Areni village, was an ancient and significant settlement of the gavar (district) of Vayots Dzor of Syunik Ashkhar (province) within the Great Armenia. It is located on the right bank of the river Arpa.

The Garni Complex is located in a half hour drive from the capital of Armenia – Yerevan. Here you will find multiple monuments from Hellenistic and early-Christian era. 

Geghard Monastery, located north-east of Garni is a monastery famous for it’s cave architecture – more than half of the complex is carved out of rock.

Once we’re done with the delicious lunch, we’ll proceed to visit the religious center of Armenia – Echmiadzin.
