Mikoyan Museum

Museum of Mikoyan brothers, is situated in the hometown of the famous brother - the tiny village of Sanahin. Mikoyan brothers had a huge impact on the soviet union and as well as the rest of the world. Artem Mikoyan is the mastermind behind MIG Airplanes.

Mikoyan brothers are from the Armenian Elite society. One of them was a minister of foreign affairs in Soviet Union, while the other – an aircraft engineer. Later, is known for the MIG airplanes. We’ll make a quick stop at the museum to take a look at a real MIG 21 fighter jet.

The Mikoyan museum houses family memorobilia as well as some of the brothers relics. Note thow that it is often closed, so the inside of the museum is not always accessible.
