Tbilisi - Stalin Museum - Uplistsikhe - Ubisa Monastery - Kutaisi Overnight
Your tour will start from your address in Tbilisi, where you will be met by your guide and driver, who will lead you to your comfortable car to depart for Gori.
After about 1 hour of driving and hearing stories about Georgia, we will arrive in Gori, where we will have an in depth tour of the controversial Stalin Museum. Here you will see Stalin’s personal items, as well as hear stories about his childhood days, which made him the man the world would know him as. We will also take a look at his death mask, a truly eerie experience.
Once we’re done with the Stalin Museum, we will proceed to one of the most popular attractions in Georgia – the cave city of Uplistsikhe, dated back to the 4th century BC! We will have an in depth tour of the city and relive the experiences of the city dwellers from the ancient times.
We’ll be done with Uplistsikhe around lunchtime, so we will visit a local family for lunch cooked especially for us. Lunch at a local family is a truly great way to get to know the local culture and people, to see how they live (This experience is optional – if you don’t want to include the lunches in the package, choose the “Guided Tour or Sightseeing Tour option”).
After the lunch, we will start driving towards Kutaisi on the way to which we will stop at the Ubisa Monastery – known for its history and unique murals which are 1000 years old!
Finally, we will arrive in Kutaisi in the evening and we will take you to your hotel, where you can rest and enjoy your free time.

We will spend around 2 hours here and at the end of the exploration, we will leave the caves with on a boat through an underground river – truly unforgettable!
Next, we’ll continue to the amazing Martvili Canyon, where we will take a look at beautiful waterfalls – once the personal vacationing place for the Georgian royalty – after which we will get on boats and row up the canyon to experience the beauty first-hand.

We had an amazing trip with Tamo and Malkhaz – both of which were amazing! Tamo made sure we were never bored, even throughout the long drive, while Malkhaz navigated us like a true chaperone through the Georgian roads.
Sights we visited were stunning and the tour was really well planned. Would recommend it to anyone going to Georgia!

We absolutely enjoyed this trip. Driver Malkhaz was so nice, he brought us to every place which is on this trip. Places itself are nice, i think this is the best you can get out from two days if you want to visit Kutaisi from Tbilisi. Me and my girlfriend loved it! respect to Max(Our driver)!
